What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), is a non-surgical treatment that uses very fine, sterile needles to create tiny punctures in your skin, promoting a collagen-stimulating healing process that corrects flaws and improves skin quality. Microneedling effectively treats aging skin, scarring, facial wrinkles, stretch marks, enlarged pores, and other skin concerns.
Traditional Microneedling vs. RF Microneedling
RF microneedling adds the element of radiofrequency energy onto the traditional microneedling procedure. The energy is delivered through the small needles to further enhance skin tightening, scar, and wrinkle reduction. The amount of radiofrequency energy is adjusted to suit specific skin conditions or certain areas of the body, and the depth of its application is adjusted to reach deeper layers of the dermis.

Both traditional microneedling and RF microneedling will deliver positive results; adding radiofrequency energy reduces the time it takes to see results and increases the results seen. In RF microneedling, the results are produced faster, are more dramatic, and are longer lasting. Traditional microneedling is optimal for slower and more subtle rejuvenation.
Comfort and Downtime:
This treatment is considered to be painless by most. A topical numbing cream will be applied prior to your microneedling session to ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment.

There is no downtime with microneedling! Your skin may appear red for a few hours, but most clients notice a post-treatment tightening and glow.
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
For traditional microneedling, we recommend a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced four to six weeks apart until your desired results are achieved. To maintain results, a treatment every 6 months is recommended.
For microneedling with RF, we recommend a series of three to four treatments, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. To maintain results, a treatment every six months is recommended.
What is the Cost of Microneedling?
The cost of microneedling depends on several factors including: the quantity and condition of the areas being treated, and the number of treatments required.
